The South Carolina Research Authority has accepted six new client companies into its SC Launch program.
The economic development program, which was founded by the SCRA in 2006, provides grants, loans, and equity investments to startup, seed, and early-stage advanced-technology companies, according to a news release.
Participating companies receive mentoring and other support services and may also be eligible to receive grant funds or investments. They may also be eligible to receive matching funds or larger investments, according to the release.
