Kopis named Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Month for March 2019
The Chamber’s Small Business of the Month award recognizes extraordinary businesses in the Upstate. Winners are eligible to be named the Chamber’s Small Business of the Year during its next annual meeting.
Kopis, founded in 1999, specializes in database administration and application development for businesses of every size, with clients like BMW, Proterra, Metromont, Mungo Homes, and many more.
“Our capabilities have increased over the years, but the main focus remains largely the same — solving business problems, through technology,” said Andrew Kurtz, president and CEO of Kopis.
Kopis, through the involvement of CEO Andy Kurtz, was one of the founding member companies of NEXT when the program was conceptualized in 2005, and has remained an active member of the entrepreneurial ecosystem since its establishment. Kurtz says, “Before NEXT, we were on an island. Now we have a community.”
